Gloria is back in Gulu to complete a placement at the High Court, here is her update for May:
The month of May has been treating me fair and well. I am home in Gulu for holidays and trying out as usual a few activities to raise funds. I have been involved in church ministries with the retired Arch Bishop Luke Orombi, of the Church of Uganda who is focusing on youth ministry. I shared with him about how I got the chance to have education through Small is Beautiful and he asked me to send his regards.
Secondly, I have been doing internship with Gulu High Court as part of my course for at least two months and am looking forward to completing the second month as well successfully. It has been so far a great experience of learning and interactions.
Thirdly, I have been also making liquid soap, shampoo and over weekends doing salon work and so far I have been able to raise some money and support my three siblings at school. Sadly Mum is bed ridden again and put back for chemotherapy.
Therefore, the month of May has been good and successful for me and the things that I can not control, I have been able to let it be.
