Stewart Grant
I am Kevin Grant, second son of Patricia Grant, the charity's founder, and the current chairperson. As a semi-retired person, and having lived in Uganda for many years, I have both the time and experience to deal with the problems on the ground. My previous work has been project or logistical-based. As a film director/producer I organised film shoots all over the world, and before that I owned a SCUBA diving expeditions company. It is my humble hope to continue and expand the work started by our late mother.
I am Andrew Smith, close friend of Kevin Grant. Having spent over 20 years in the world of banking, I semi-retired in 2008 to pursue a better work/life balance with my young family. I went on to study horticulture and subsequently started up and currently manage two garden-related businesses. When Kevin mentioned to me his mother's charity work in Uganda and his desire to continue her efforts, I was delighted to offer my help and support as a trustee of and treasurer for the charity.
I am Stewart Grant, eldest son of Patricia Grant, the charity's founder. I am delighted to be carrying on our mother's work with my brother Kevin. I am a father of five and as such am very aware of the possibilities that young people have to effect change. I have a life-long career in the building trade and my focus is on fundraising for the charity.
