Phionna Christine

This is Phionna Christine, the very first student our mother funded through university. She studied Humanities and graduated in 2019. Phionna comes from an extremely humble background.

Phionna’s education was initially supported by her single mother, who took in washing to pay for fees. However, Phionna started to miss semesters due to a lack of funds, at which point our good friend Sister Francis contacted our mother about her. Recognising her as a student with potential, they decided to fund Phionna for the duration of her university course. Sadly, our mother passed away before Phionna graduated, as she would have been immensely proud of Phionna’s progress, as we are today.
