GIoria President Union of Africa Law students
In October I was lucky among the two delegates from Uganda who qualified on full funded trip to Addis Ababa and on the 19th to 25th October, I represented SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL AFRICA, Uganda at the center in Ethiopia.
While in Ethiopia, I participated actively and dared the odd, new of its kind, contested for a post of international secretary general of federation of African law students. I vied against delegate from Ghana, Accra, twenty delegates voted and it was on ration on 15 to 5 thus I got 15 votes against her. This was celebrated on different spaced and confirmed by the African Union. This has not only exposed me to bigger opportunities but as well marketed me as an individual. Back at home I was invited by minister of justice and constitutional affairs to discuss how it can partner with FALAS and Uganda Christian university has invited me back on career day, to share my humble progress with the student body which I am humbled to do so.
