There is a an existing program at the orphanage which unfortunately is entirely under-funded. Clearly there is an advantage if children leave with the prospect of some work. We are concentrating on improving the facilities and equipment for, initially, two programs; hairdressing and machine knitting. We are confident that not only are these skills marketable locally but also can generate income for the home – this meets our long term goal that the home should be self sustainable.
